Full Floor Preparation

Proper preparation is the foundation of a successful screed installation — and it’s something we take incredibly seriously. Our team completes every step needed to set your project up for success, including:

Preparing and cleaning the sub-floor
Installing insulation boards and edge strip
Ensuring correct levels and datum points
Securing underfloor heating systems where required
Checking all materials and components match your specification

Accurate Quantifying

Full Site Survey

Before any work begins, we carry out a comprehensive site survey to make sure everything is safe, accessible, and ready for installation. This includes:

Checking structural suitability and room layouts
Confirming power and water availability
Identifying potential hazards or obstructions
Ensuring compliance with safety standards

The survey allows us to plan ahead, avoid delays on the day, and maintain safe working practices from start to finish. With the right preparation, installation runs smoothly — exactly as it should.

Professional Aftercare

Once the screed has been poured and cured, we return to carry out a final sanding using professional diamond disc, dust-free equipment. This removes any surface laitance, creates the correct texture for optimal adhesion, and also helps accelerate the remaining drying time — ensuring your chosen floor finish, whether LVT, tiles, laminate or carpet, bonds properly and performs exactly as it should.
